Special Charges
Should a customer currently paying wastewater charges desire an additional or "second" water meter for outside watering needs, the following charges will apply:
3/4" $ 150.00 connection charge 1" $ 225.00 connection charges The above meter will be installed adjacent to the existing water meter and shall be connected to the existing tap or connection point. The intent of this connection will allow a customer a metering option for outside watering needs without wastewater charges. No additional water volume or pressure will be accomplished through this connection. Should a customer desire an increase in volume, an increase in meter size, or desire the meter to be installed in a different location, all normal charges will be assessed.

RESIDENTIAL SERVICE
2 forms of ID required: 1 STATE ISSUED PICTURE ID & SS CARD

EXISTING RESIDENTIAL SERVICE
The standard residential deposit is $350 for electric and water and/or wastewater services.
The standard deposit for water or wastewater only is $100.
If the customer owes an old bill to MUB, the old bill must be paid before service is established.
The standard residential deposit may be waived by the following:
Customer has had previous service with MUB within the last 3 years with no collection activity. (Collection activity defined below)
Customer provides a letter of good credit history from prior utility with no collection activity within the last 3 years. The letter of good credit history must be provided on the Utility's letterhead at time of application.
Customer receives an excellent credit score from a third party credit reporting agency.
Collection Activity -Disconnect processed, returned check or bank draft, delinquent balances in bad debt.
After maintaining service for 3 years with no collection activity, customer may request a refund of deposit to be credited to the customer's account.
Deposit will accrue interest at rates determined by MUB and will be applied to customer account after services have been discontinued less any unpaid balance then due or after 3 years with no collection activity (at customer request), whichever comes first.

To qualify for extra meter, Customer has to be paying "WASTEWATER" charges. Customer will not be billed wastewater charges on extra meter.

* MUB will not assess a SDC fee for the 3/4" meter that is connected to an existing tap (same connection point). However, if a customer wishes the connection in a different location or an increase in size, this will require an additional tap and will be assessed a SDC fee.

The garbage rates are determined by the City of Albertville. It is on your utility bill as a convenience to YOU our customer. If you have any questions about your garbage or recyclables pickup, or any other sanitation services, please call Arrow Disposal Mon-Fri, 8 AM to 5 PM at 1-866-440-3983.
